When sbPopper starts, it uses UPnP to search for any Soundbridge devices on the network. The UPnP protocol uses 'multicast' packets. You might want to check that your new router is configured to pass multicast packets. Is your computer on the same subnet as your Soundbridge (i.e. are all of the network numbers the same except the last ones, like 192.168.1.101 and 192.168.1.102)? I'll add a manual override to the IP address in the next spin of sbPopper. No, there is no way to specify the ip address of the Soundbridge. I just upgraded my router to a dlink dir-655 which for some reason does not play nice with a soundbridge. My soundbridge cannot see my firefly media server anymore either since I've started using the dir-655.
